George Fares, M.D., M.Sc.

Dr. Fares graduated with a medical degree from the Universite Saint Joseph, Beirut Lebanon in 1994 and his B.S. degree in Mathematics and Physics from Lycee Francais, Lyon, France in 1987. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Nephrology, and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

Dr. Fares has received honors and awards from the National Kidney Foundation Training Grant in Clinical Research, Diplomate of the American Board of Nephrology, and Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

After completing his internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center, Dr. Fares pursued a nephrology and hypertension fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Fares completed, subsequently, a nephrology research fellowship at Tufts University in Boston, also finishing a master in clinical research.

Dr. Fares is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
